One of the key drivers behind wanting to design a wooden watch was the fact that we could do so whilst remaining a friend of the environment. Our watches are handcrafted using sustainably sourced materials without the use of any harsh chemicals. This means that they have a lower environmental cost than the more traditional metal watches that people are used to seeing.
Once we had done everything we could to make our product as environmentally friendly as possible we set about exploring other ways in which we could do more to have a positive impact on our planet. This is when we came across the work being done by Trees.org and felt that their ethos was a good match for our own. We have since partnered with them and pledged to plant 1 tree for every watch sold meaning that any success we have as a company quickly and directly benefits areas of the world that are most in need. We are excited to be a part of their journey to plant over 1 billion trees by 2030 and hope you will be too.
